Promethean is being built around a simple premise: information-intensive organizations often need more explicit control over data, access, provenance, operating boundaries, and validation than broadly generalized software is designed to provide.
Promethean develops independent product platforms around clearly defined operational problems. Shared infrastructure is introduced deliberately rather than assumed, and product maturity is stated according to what has actually been implemented and demonstrated.
The goal is not feature volume. The goal is software that remains understandable, controllable, supportable, and useful as the operating environment becomes more complex.
